18. Pillar of Rest – Rest in the word

Earlier in the month, I wrote about the word coriander and what the prophetic meaning is for the month. Read it here: Coriander and Month of Iyar

There is a second part to the word Coriander that I would like to bring into our Pillar of Rest. As we learn and lean into Christ our manifested word. As mentioned previously the word for Coriander (also represents manna) prophetically means the word or revelation of the word of God. In Hebrew, the word for Coriander is Kus’barah – כוסברה . Interesting “barah” in Hebrew also means to create.

  • Beyt, meaning a dwelling place
  • Resh, the head of a man to lead. It represents wisdom when talking about the head leading.
  • Hey, to behold the one we look upon.

Beyt consists of 3 Vav and we see the Hey. This connects to YHVH. We know that the name of Yahweh is in and out-breath.

Without breath, we cannot speak. The Word – Christ is the voice that spoke forth for creation to be formed.

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it]. John1:1-5

“Barah” relates to the word at the beginning of creation. When we look at the Manna out of Heaven God spoke the word and it came down. But when the Israelites gave it a name, they spoke the word “Manna” – What is it. The people created out of the breath and the spoken word.

In the same way, we speak words every day. We create through what we speak. In essence, we create through the substance inside of us.

Barah – “Behold the dwelling place of the one who leads through wisdom, creating through the word”

How does this connect to Rest? If you read my blog on how Unveiled Essence came about you will see, that the word Essence in Hebrew also means THE WORD. Christ is our essence, the very substance of our being. We are found in and through Him, the substance of the word is inside you.
